Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute underwriting policies and procedures to manage risk effectively.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of underwriters, fostering a high-performance culture.

• Review and approve complex or high-value underwriting risks.
• Collaborate with actuarial and product development teams to refine offerings.

Requirements

• Significant experience in insurance underwriting , with a proven track record in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of risk assessment, pricing, and portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements within the UK insurance market.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CII) are highly desirable.
