About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and experienced Underwriting Manager to lead their underwriting team in Coventry . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute underwriting strategies and policies to achieve profitable growth targets.

• Review and approve complex or high-value insurance proposals, ensuring adherence to risk guidelines.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the underwriting process.

• Implement and refine underwriting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in insurance underwriting, with a proven track record in a management or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, pricing methodologies, and insurance products.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable underwriting strategies.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII) are highly preferred for this position in Coventry .
