About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Urban Designer to join their multidisciplinary team in Norwich . You will be involved in masterplanning, policy development, and design strategies for regeneration projects, new developments, and public realm enhancements. Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive masterplans and urban design frameworks for new developments and regeneration areas.
• Conduct site analysis, research, and community consultation to inform design strategies.
• Prepare design guidelines, development briefs, and planning policy recommendations.
• Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, engineers, and other consultants to create integrated urban environments.
• Present design proposals and concepts to clients, local authorities, and the public.
• Ensure designs promote sustainability, accessibility, and social inclusivity within the urban context across the UK .

Requirements

• A degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in urban design or masterplanning, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
• Proficiency in urban design software, including CAD, GIS, and visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Good understanding of planning policy, development processes, and the regulatory landscape in the UK .
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for creating high-quality, sustainable, and people-centered places.
