UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and insightful UX Researcher to join their product development team in Reading . This role is vital in understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations to inform the design of intuitive and effective digital products. You will plan and conduct various research studies, analyze findings, and translate them into actionable recommendations for the design and product teams. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct user research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys, card sorting).
• Analyze research data and synthesize findings into actionable insights and clear recommendations for product and design teams.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user feedback into the product development lifecycle.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts to represent user needs and behaviours.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring a user-centered approach is maintained.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a UX Researcher role, with a strong portfolio showcasing research methodologies and outcomes.
• Proficiency in planning and conducting various user research methods, both moderated and unmoderated.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present research findings clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams in the Reading area.
