About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic UX Researcher to join their growing product team, working entirely remotely. You will be at the forefront of understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations to inform product design and development decisions. This role involves planning and conducting various research methodologies, synthesizing findings, and communicating actionable insights to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about advocating for the user, possesses strong analytical skills, and excels at translating complex data into clear, impactful recommendations. This is a vital role for driving user-centered innovation in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct a range of qualitative and quantitative user research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic research.
- Identify user needs and pain points through effective research methodologies, translating them into design requirements.
- Analyze research data, identifying key themes, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Create comprehensive research reports, personas, journey maps, and other deliverables to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure research findings influence product strategy and design.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring user needs are central to decision-making.
- Stay current with the latest UX research trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in User Experience (UX) Research or a related field.
- Proven track record of designing and conducting user research studies and synthesizing findings.
- Proficiency with various research tools and methodologies (e.g., UsabilityHub, SurveyMonkey, user interviews, card sorting).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field is preferred.
