About the Role
Our client is seeking an insightful and analytical UX Researcher to join their growing product team in Oxford . You will be responsible for conducting user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations, providing crucial insights that inform product design and strategy. This hybrid role combines the collaborative energy of our Oxford office with the flexibility of remote work. Your work will directly impact the development of user-centered products and features, ensuring they are intuitive, effective, and enjoyable to use, contributing to a culture of user advocacy within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct various user research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and persona development.
- Analyze research data to identify key insights, user pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for product and design teams.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to integrate user feedback into the product development lifecycle.
- Communicate research findings effectively through compelling reports, presentations, and workshops.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development process.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UX Research or a related field such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
- Proven experience with a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in research tools and analysis software.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, HCI, Design, or a related field.
