About the Role
Our client is seeking an insightful and analytical UX Researcher to join their product development team in Portsmouth . In this role, you will be at the forefront of understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations to inform the design of intuitive and effective digital products. You will plan and conduct user research studies, analyse findings, and communicate actionable insights to design and product teams. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct a variety of user research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic research.
- Recruit participants for research studies and manage participant logistics.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify key user needs, pain points, and opportunities.
- Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and compelling recommendations for product design and strategy.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user feedback into the product development process.
- Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) in user experience research or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of various qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Proficiency with research tools and platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for the user.
- Experience working in an Agile or iterative product development environment.
