About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and insightful UX Researcher to join their growing product development team in Bristol . This role is dedicated to understanding user behaviours, needs, and motivations through rigorous research methods to inform product design and strategy. You will plan, conduct, and analyze user research studies, translating complex findings into actionable recommendations that shape intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences. Working in a collaborative hybrid environment, you will partner with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to champion a user-centered approach throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct a variety of user research studies, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement.
- Translate research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations for design and product teams.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user understanding across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate user insights into the product development process.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX Researcher or in a similar user research role, with a strong portfolio showcasing research methodologies and impact.
- Proficiency in a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Experience with user research tools and techniques, including usability testing platforms and survey software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field is preferred.
