About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and insightful UX Researcher to join their product development team in Sheffield . This role is central to understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations to inform the design of intuitive and effective digital products. You will conduct various research methodologies, analyze findings, and translate them into actionable insights that guide product strategy and design decisions, ensuring a user-centered approach across all initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct user research studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, field studies).
- Analyze research data to identify key user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights, presented through reports, personas, journey maps, and other deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to advocate for the user and ensure research findings are integrated into product development.
- Stay current with the latest UX research trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX Researcher or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your research process and impact.
- Strong understanding of human-computer interaction principles and user-centered design methodologies.
- Proficiency in planning and conducting various research methods, both remote and in-person.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
