About the Role
Our client, a growing automotive repair centre in Belfast , is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Systems Technician . This role requires a broad understanding of modern vehicle mechanics and electronics, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing a wide array of vehicle systems. You will be part of a professional team committed to delivering high-quality service to customers across Northern Ireland . The successful candidate will possess strong technical aptitude and a commitment to staying current with automotive advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension.
- Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs, providing detailed estimates.
- Work with diagnostic equipment to identify electrical and electronic system faults.
- Ensure all repairs are carried out efficiently and to a high standard, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with common diagnostic tools and software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A valid UK driving license and a strong work ethic.
