Vehicle Technician Location: Derby Salary: Competitive (dependent on qualifications & experience) Sign-on Bonus: £1,500 Hours: Monday–Friday (no weekends)

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a mixed rental fleet Inspect systems and components to ensure safety and compliance Identify worn or faulty parts and complete repairs or replacements Test drive vehicles where permitted and licence allows Maintain accurate job cards and update internal systems throughout the day Complete jobs in full or hand over correctly, ensuring vehicles are left safe and clearly marked

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) Experience working with LCVs or HGVs Full UK / Irish / EU manual driving licence Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach Training & Development Structured progression route to Master Technician Ongoing technical training and support Long-term stability within a professional workshop environment If you’re an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for progression, stability and a supportive workshop team — with a £1,500 sign‑on bonus on top — this is an ideal next step.
