Vehicle Technician

Location: Durham Salary: Up to £40,000 basic + bonus Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Job Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive business in Durham.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking for a stable Monday to Friday role within a professional workshop environment.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a variety of vehicles.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

• Carrying out mechanical repairs to a high standard

• Brake, suspension, steering and other component repairs

• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults

• Completing vehicle inspections and safety checks

• Working efficiently as part of a professional workshop team

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential

• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence
