We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful main dealership in Hereford. Vehicle Technician Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance Mechanical repairs across a range of vehicle systems Fault finding and diagnostic work depending on experience Completing more complex repairs at Senior/Diagnostic level Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work Ensuring repairs are completed accurately and efficiently Working towards strong first-time-fix standards Completing all relevant job cards and workshop documentation Maintaining manufacturer and dealership standards Working closely with the wider workshop and aftersales teamVehicle Technician Requirements Level 3 Automotive qualification – City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent Current experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Main dealer experience would be advantageous but isn't essential MOT licence is desirable but not essential Own set of tools Full UK driving licence Strong mechanical and fault-finding ability Professional approach with a focus on quality workmanshipThis Vehicle Technician vacancy is suitable for technicians at different stages of their career, with salaries ranging from £35,000 to £45,800 basic depending on skills and accreditation.
