Vehicle Technician

We are working on behalf of a reputable main dealer in Bedford to recruit a highly skilled vehicle technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated vehicle technician to join a professional and supportive workshop environment, offering full manufacturer training, ongoing career development, and access to the latest industry qualifications. The vehicle technician role provides a competitive basic salary of up to £40,000, with an earning potential of approximately £44,000 based on performance. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with no weekend work.

Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles Perform diagnostic and fault-finding assessments Carry out MOT tests, if qualified Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and health & safety policies Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet workshop targets Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction Keep accurate records and adhere to warranty and manufacturer proceduresRequirements:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) Valid UK Driving Licence Own set of tools Proven technical ability and strong attention to detail Previous workshop experience MOT qualification is advantageous but not essential Individuals with strong diagnostic skills are encouraged to apply Committed to ongoing training and development, with a keen interest in advancing technical qualificationsThis vehicle technician position offers a structured career pathway within a respected dealership, providing the chance to refine your skills with manufacturer-approved training and work with a team dedicated to excellence.
