We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable and well-established garage located near Sevenoaks, Kent. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in delivering high-quality vehicle servicing and repairs across a diverse range of makes and models, including light commercial vehicles. Conduct servicing and mechanical repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles Perform diagnostic tests using Snap-on diagnostic tools, Autel diagnostics, and dealer-level laptops Carry out mechanical repairs such as clutch replacements, cambelt changes, and other mechanical component work Provide initial diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify vehicle faults accurately Manage a diverse workload, including fleet maintenance and individual customer vehicles Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications Maintain accurate records of work carried out and communicate findings effectively to customers and managementRequirements:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a reputable workshop environment Relevant qualifications, ideally Level 3 or equivalent, or substantial practical experience Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to carry out servicing and repairs across multiple vehicle makes Experience working with fleet and light commercial vehicles is advantageous Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop setting Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanshipThis Vehicle Technician role offers a rewarding opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a respected team in a supportive workshop environment.
