Vice President of Supply Chain

About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President of Supply Chain to lead their global supply chain operations. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a leader who can manage complex logistics and supplier relationships from anywhere in the world. You will be responsible for developing and executing a robust supply chain strategy that drives efficiency, reduces costs, and ensures timely delivery of products. This role requires a deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics, risk management, and process optimization, with the ability to lead a distributed team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.
• Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance.
• Manage and build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners worldwide.
• Implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Lead and mentor a global team of supply chain professionals, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in a remote environment .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management , with significant leadership experience.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful global supply chain strategies.
• Deep expertise in logistics, procurement, inventory control, and demand forecasting .
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience leading and managing remote teams and international operations.
