About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join their dynamic digital content team, working remotely from Plymouth . You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging and polished video content for various online platforms within the Arts & Entertainment sector. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, contributing your expertise to create compelling visual narratives. You will collaborate closely with content creators, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure video content aligns with brand objectives and captivates the target audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage, selecting the best takes and assembling them into a cohesive narrative.
• Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance video content.
• Ensure video content is optimized for different platforms and viewing formats.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project goals and deliver final cuts.
• Maintain an organized library of video assets and project files.
• Stay current with video editing techniques, software updates, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition in video.
• Excellent technical knowledge of video codecs, formats, and export settings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
