About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, offering the exciting opportunity to craft compelling visual stories from anywhere. You will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos for various Arts & Entertainment projects, including promotional content, social media clips, and internal communications. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sense of narrative, technical proficiency in editing software, and a passion for visual storytelling, contributing high-quality video assets to a distributed and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging final products, ensuring narrative flow and visual appeal.
- Incorporate graphics, music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance video content.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to understand project requirements and achieve desired creative outcomes.
- Manage and organize video assets, projects, and render files efficiently.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and technical specifications for various platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends in the Arts & Entertainment industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse editing styles and projects, preferably within the Arts & Entertainment sector.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition in video.
- Experience with motion graphics and basic animation is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote setting.
