About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Virtual Early Years Support Officer to join their team, remotely supporting childcare providers across Belfast and Northern Ireland. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and consistency of early years education and care delivered by their network of partners. You will be responsible for providing remote guidance, training, and support to childcare professionals, helping them to meet regulatory standards and enhance their pedagogical practices. This fully remote position requires a self-disciplined individual with a strong background in early years, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage their workload effectively from a home-based office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver remote training sessions and workshops to early years practitioners on curriculum development, pedagogy, and compliance.
- Provide virtualOne-to-One support and guidance to childcare providers, addressing specific challenges and offering solutions.
- Conduct remote quality assurance reviews and assessments of childcare settings, ensuring adherence to national standards.
- Develop and disseminate informative resources, best practice guides, and policy updates to support childcare professionals.
- Act as a primary point of contact for remote inquiries from childcare providers regarding operational, educational, and regulatory matters.
- Monitor key performance indicators and contribute to reports on the effectiveness of support services provided to childcare providers.
Requirements
- A relevant degree or Level 5 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or a related field.
- Significant experience working within the early years sector, with a deep understanding of the regulatory framework in Northern Ireland.
- Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, or supporting childcare professionals.
- Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills, comfortable using video conferencing tools and online learning platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to quality assurance.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively, and maintain high levels of productivity in a remote setting.
