About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and commercially minded Visual Merchandiser to enhance the in-store experience at their Sunderland location. This role is crucial for translating brand strategy into compelling visual displays that attract customers, drive sales, and communicate product stories effectively. You will be responsible for the aesthetic presentation of the store, ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns, making a significant impact on the customer journey in Sunderland .

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement visually appealing merchandise displays, window presentations, and in-store layouts according to brand standards.
Create impactful product storytelling through creative merchandising techniques that drive sales and customer engagement.
Collaborate with the store management team to execute seasonal campaigns and promotional activities.
Ensure all displays are maintained to a high standard, including regular updates and replenishment of stock.
Stay up-to-date with the latest retail trends and competitor activities to inform visual strategies.
Provide guidance and support to store staff on visual merchandising best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in a Visual Merchandising role within the retail sector.
Strong creative flair and an excellent eye for detail, color, and composition.
Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into effective visual strategies.
Proficiency in using visual merchandising tools and techniques.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
A passion for fashion/retail and a keen understanding of consumer behavior.
