About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join their retail operations team based in Portsmouth . This role is essential in creating compelling in-store displays that attract customers, enhance brand image, and drive sales. You will be responsible for interpreting brand guidelines, planning and executing store layouts, window displays, and promotional setups. Working closely with the store management and marketing teams, you will ensure that the visual presentation of the store consistently reflects the brand's aesthetic and commercial objectives in Portsmouth .

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement captivating window displays and in-store visual merchandising strategies.
• Interpret and apply brand guidelines to create cohesive and attractive product presentations.
• Plan and execute floor layouts and fixture placements to optimize product visibility and customer flow.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on seasonal campaigns and promotional activities.
• Manage and maintain visual merchandising props, fixtures, and materials.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and ensure consistent execution across the store.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar creative retail role.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, color theory, and spatial planning.
• Excellent artistic and creative flair, with a keen eye for detail and trends.
• Ability to interpret brand aesthetics and translate them into compelling visual displays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various teams.
• Proficiency in using design software is an advantage.
