About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the store's aesthetic appeal and maximize product presentation at their Southampton location. You will be responsible for creating compelling visual displays that attract customers, communicate brand messaging, and drive sales. This role requires a strong sense of style, an understanding of retail trends, and the ability to translate creative concepts into impactful in-store experiences. You will work closely with the store management and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and a captivating shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement captivating window and in-store displays according to brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
• Select and arrange merchandise to highlight key products and collections, optimizing presentation.
• Ensure all displays are maintained to a high standard, keeping them clean, organised, and visually appealing.
• Collaborate with store management to understand sales goals and create displays that drive product visibility and turnover.
• Stay informed about current retail trends, competitor activities, and visual merchandising best practices.
• Manage and maintain visual merchandising materials and props.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a related creative retail role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative display concepts and execution.
• Excellent eye for detail, colour, and aesthetics.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into visual concepts.
• Good understanding of retail sales and marketing principles.
• Proficiency in using design software is an advantage.
