About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to enhance the in-store presentation for their retail locations across Cardiff . This role is crucial in creating captivating visual displays that attract customers, communicate brand identity, and ultimately drive sales. You will be responsible for interpreting merchandising guidelines, creating impactful window displays, and ensuring the in-store environment is aesthetically pleasing and aligns with brand standards. This hybrid role allows for creative autonomy while requiring on-site execution to bring concepts to life in the retail space, collaborating with store teams to ensure cohesive execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement compelling visual merchandising displays for windows, floors, and promotional areas.
- Interpret and execute brand guidelines and seasonal merchandising plans effectively.
- Source and manage props, fixtures, and signage to support display concepts.
- Collaborate with store management and staff to ensure consistent implementation of merchandising standards.
- Stay updated on current retail trends , competitor activities, and visual merchandising best practices.
- Train and guide store teams on visual merchandising techniques and upkeep.
Requirements
- Proven experience in visual merchandising or a related creative retail role.
- Strong creative eye for design, aesthetics, and spatial arrangement.
- Proficiency with design software is a plus but not essential.
- Excellent understanding of retail environments and customer flow.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with store teams.
