About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join their retail operations in Cardiff . In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays that attract customers and enhance the brand's image. You will interpret seasonal themes and marketing campaigns, translating them into compelling in-store presentations. This position requires a strong artistic eye, an understanding of retail trends, and the ability to work collaboratively with store teams to ensure brand consistency and maximize product appeal, contributing to an engaging shopping environment that drives foot traffic and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies in line with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Create and maintain attractive product displays, window presentations, and in-store signage.
• Collaborate with store management and sales teams to ensure effective execution of visual merchandising plans.
• Monitor store inventory and identify opportunities to showcase products effectively.
• Stay current with retail design trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in visual merchandising within a retail setting.
• Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and spatial arrangement.
• Excellent creativity, artistic flair, and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret brand aesthetics and translate them into engaging displays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to other store locations as needed.
