About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and visually astute Visual Merchandiser to join their retail team in Bristol . You will be responsible for designing and implementing compelling in-store displays that enhance product appeal, drive customer engagement, and align with brand aesthetics. This role requires a blend of artistic talent, commercial awareness, and an understanding of retail best practices. You will work closely with store teams and management to ensure visual standards are consistently met and contribute to an inspiring shopping environment. This hybrid role allows for both in-store execution and remote planning and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute creative visual merchandising plans for store displays, windows, and in-store signage.
- Ensure all displays are aligned with brand guidelines, seasonal themes, and product launches.
- Collaborate with store managers and sales teams to optimize product placement and flow.
- Maintain high standards of visual presentation, ensuring stores are appealing and shoppable.
- Stay updated on retail design trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Manage and maintain visual merchandising materials and props.
- Contribute to remote planning sessions for upcoming visual merchandising strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a related visual display role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative display concepts and execution.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and space planning.
- Knowledge of retail environments and customer shopping behaviour.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with design software is a plus.
