Visual Merchandiser

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join their team in Cardiff . You will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays and store layouts that attract customers and enhance the shopping experience. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong understanding of branding, and the ability to translate commercial objectives into compelling visual presentations. You will work closely with the store management and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across all displays.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement captivating window and in-store displays according to seasonal themes and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all merchandise is displayed attractively and logically, maximising sales potential.
• Maintain high standards of visual presentation throughout the store, including lighting, signage, and fixtures.
• Collaborate with the buying and marketing teams to understand product focus and promotional activities.
• Train store staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure effective rotation and replenishment of displays.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a related creative retail role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative display concepts and execution.
• Excellent knowledge of design principles, colour theory, and spatial arrangement.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into impactful displays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and store needs.
