About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to join their dynamic retail team in Cardiff . In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays and store layouts that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales. You will translate brand strategies into compelling in-store presentations, ensuring that products are showcased attractively and effectively throughout the Cardiff store, working both on-site and potentially remotely to plan initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement captivating visual merchandising displays according to brand guidelines and seasonal themes.
• Plan and execute store layouts, window displays, and in-store signage to maximize product visibility and sales.
• Collaborate with the store management and buying teams to understand product placement strategies.
• Ensure all visual merchandising standards are consistently met across the Cardiff location, maintaining a high level of visual appeal.
• Stay updated on the latest retail design trends and competitor activities to bring fresh ideas to the store.
• Manage and maintain visual merchandising props, fixtures, and materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar creative retail role.
• Strong artistic and design sensibility, with an eye for detail and colour.
• Proficiency with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of retail sales principles and how visual presentation impacts customer behaviour.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in Cardiff .
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various teams.
