About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandising Specialist to join their vibrant retail team in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will be responsible for creating inspiring and engaging store displays that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of brand presentation, and the ability to translate marketing concepts into visually compelling retail environments across multiple store formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement captivating window displays and in-store merchandising to align with brand guidelines and seasonal campaigns.
• Collaborate with the marketing and buying teams to ensure visual themes are cohesive and impactful.
• Maintain high standards of visual presentation, including product placement, signage, and overall store ambiance.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess merchandising effectiveness and provide feedback to store teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform creative strategies.
• Train retail staff on visual merchandising standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar creative retail role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative visual display designs and merchandising concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of visual merchandising principles, color theory, and spatial design.
• Proficiency with design software is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic retail setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
