About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Visual Merchandising Specialist to enhance the in-store presentation and customer experience at their Portsmouth location. You will be responsible for creating compelling visual displays that align with brand aesthetics and drive sales. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement visually engaging product displays and store layouts in line with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the store management team to plan and execute seasonal merchandising strategies.
• Ensure all visual merchandising standards are met consistently across the store.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of display stock.
• Train and guide store staff on visual merchandising best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform merchandising decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or in a similar retail display role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative visual merchandising skills.
• Excellent understanding of colour theory, space planning, and layout design.
• Ability to interpret brand guidelines and translate them into impactful displays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Flexibility to work hours necessary to complete merchandising projects in Portsmouth , which may include some weekends.
