Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to recruit new volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
• Conduct volunteer inductions, training sessions, and ongoing support.
• Manage volunteer schedules, placements, and task allocation across various projects.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all volunteer inquiries and support needs.
• Organise volunteer appreciation events and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and data within the CRM system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant volunteer safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in volunteer management or coordination, or a related HR/people role.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with volunteer management software is a plus.
