About the Role

Our client, a well-established animal welfare charity , is seeking an organised and empathetic Volunteer Coordinator to join their team in Leeds . You will be the primary point of contact for volunteers, ensuring they have a positive and rewarding experience. Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers, ensuring a good fit with the charity's needs.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive volunteer training programs, covering policies, procedures, and specific roles.
• Manage volunteer schedules and assignments, ensuring adequate coverage across all departments.
• Provide ongoing support, motivation, and recognition to the volunteer team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in volunteer management, HR, or a coordination role.
