Waking Night Support Worker

Waking Night Support Worker Children’s Residential Home 💷 £16.50 per hour | Full & Part Time We are recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to provide safe, consistent overnight care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will:

• Provide overnight care, welfare checks and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and safeguarding procedures.
• Promote positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches.
• Build positive relationships with children and young people.
• Complete records, handovers and incident reports.
• Administer medication when trained and authorised.
• Work as part of the children’s residential care team.

About You

• Caring, reliable and resilient.
• Good communication skills and calm under pressure.
• Able to work waking night shifts.
• Passion for supporting children and young people.
• Aged 22 or over.
• Previous children’s residential care experience desirable.
• Level 3 Residential Childcare desirable or willingness to work towards.
