Warehouse Operations Coordinator (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator to join their fully remote team. This role is critical in supporting and optimizing the efficiency of warehouse operations across multiple locations, without needing to be physically present. You will be responsible for coordinating logistical activities, managing operational data, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in warehouse management systems and a proven ability to drive operational excellence from a distance, contributing to a seamless supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring smooth operations in receiving, storage, and dispatch.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within warehouse processes.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance workflow and ensure compliance.
• Manage inventory control processes, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution, using WMS tools.
• Collaborate with external logistics partners and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
• Support the training and onboarding of new team members in warehouse operations and systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Warehouse Operations Management or coordination, preferably in a multi-site environment.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant logistics software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement data-driven solutions.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and coordinate tasks remotely and communicate clearly with distributed teams.
• A solid understanding of supply chain principles and warehouse best practices.
