Warehouse Operations Manager - Logistics Hub

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to lead their logistics hub in Cambridge . You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all warehouse activities, including inventory control, dispatch, receiving, and staff supervision. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Manage and lead the warehouse team, providing direction, training, and performance management.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and ensure accuracy of records.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with transportation and other departments to ensure smooth flow of goods and information.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse operations best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Proficiency in health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
• Familiarity with the Cambridge and surrounding areas is beneficial.
