About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all activities within their key logistics hub in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse, managing inventory, and leading a dedicated team to meet demanding logistical targets. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and dispatch.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and robust stocktaking procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics with the broader business objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior warehouse or operations management role.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize warehouse layouts and operational processes for maximum efficiency.
• Proficiency in health and safety management within a warehouse environment.
• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous.
