Warehouse Operative - Night Shift

About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives for their night shift operations in Belfast . This is a hands-on role involving the efficient processing of goods, ensuring accuracy in picking, packing, and dispatching orders. You will be an integral part of the logistics chain, contributing to the timely and correct delivery of products to customers. The role requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively within a team during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming goods accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and potentially forklifts (training provided if necessary).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
• Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles, ensuring correct consignment handling.
• Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety concerns to the shift supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attending scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions diligently.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends as required by operational demands.
