Warehouse Operative - Picker/Packer

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and diligent Warehouse Operatives , specifically Picker/Packers, to join their busy facility in Cardiff . You will be responsible for accurately picking orders, carefully packing items for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This hands-on role is critical to our client's ability to meet customer demands efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
• Carefully pack orders, ensuring items are protected and ready for shipment.
• Check picked items against order documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment within the picking and packing areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and scanners, safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately at a good pace.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
