Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their bustling distribution center in Bradford . This role involves a variety of tasks critical to the smooth operation of the warehouse, including picking, packing, and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled promptly and to a high standard. The ideal candidate is physically fit, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace in Bradford .

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and dispatch notes.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory using appropriate equipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (training provided where necessary).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality.
• Good team player with the ability to follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
