Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy distribution center in Bradford . You will be an integral part of the team, responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse, from receiving goods to picking, packing, and dispatching orders. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized working environment. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and check incoming goods against delivery notes, reporting any discrepancies.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct items and quantities are processed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and potentially forklifts (training provided if required).
• Load outgoing shipments, ensuring goods are secured properly for transit.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, including designated storage areas.
• Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar fast-paced environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
