About the Role

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join their busy distribution centre in Bradford . This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of the warehouse, involving the handling, sorting, and movement of goods. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring that all items are processed accurately and dispatched on time, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the overall supply chain effectiveness. The role requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety and accuracy in all tasks performed.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, check for damage, and accurately record inventory.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders according to company procedures and deadlines.
• Sort and organize stock within the warehouse, ensuring efficient use of space.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided if needed), safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Report any stock discrepancies or operational issues to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately, often under time pressure.
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move heavy items as part of the role.
