About the Role

Our client is seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their busy facility in Leeds . In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse, contributing to the timely fulfillment of customer orders. Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against delivery notes.
• Store products accurately in designated warehouse locations, maintaining an organized and safe environment.
• Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately according to customer specifications and dispatch requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including aisles, workstations, and common areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking procedures as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar physical labor environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts if required.
