Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is looking for diligent and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their busy distribution centre in Leeds . You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods. This role is fundamental to ensuring the smooth and efficient dispatch of products to customers. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders according to order specifications.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Organize and store stock within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and rotation.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet trucks and forklifts, as required (training provided if necessary).
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory checks as directed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manual handling role is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines within a warehouse setting.
