Job Description
Warehouse Operative
Key Responsibilities
Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
Operate forklift trucks and warehouse equipment safely
Move materials and components throughout the warehouse and production areas
Carry out stock control, cycle counts, and inventory checks
Use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems accurately
Maintain clean and organised warehouse areas
Ensure all work is completed in line with company health and safety procedures
Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational targets and deadlines
Report damaged stock, shortages, or safety concerns promptly
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck preferred)
Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
Flexible attitude and willingness to learn new skills
