About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their bustling warehouse facility in Bradford . This hands-on role is essential for the day-to-day operations, involving the efficient handling of goods, accurate order picking and packing, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing directly to the smooth flow of products through the supply chain. This position is perfect for an individual who is physically fit, detail-oriented, and keen to contribute to a busy logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery notes.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements and dispatch schedules.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet trucks, safely and effectively (training may be provided).
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Load and unload vehicles as required, ensuring goods are handled with care.
• Participate in regular stock takes and assist with inventory management as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and stock handling.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
