Warehouse Operative

About the Role

Our client is seeking reliable and efficient Warehouse Operatives to join their busy facility in Glasgow . You will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the smooth operation of the warehouse, including picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods. This role is hands-on and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized working environment. You'll be an integral part of the logistics team, contributing to the efficient movement of products and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, working within a supportive and safety-conscious team.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch with accuracy and speed.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Receive and check incoming goods against delivery notes.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as required.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or in a similar manual handling role is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move goods.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Team player attitude and willingness to assist colleagues.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
