About the Role

Our client is looking for dedicated and efficient Warehouse Operatives to join their busy distribution centre in Edinburgh . This role involves a variety of tasks essential to the smooth running of the warehouse, including picking, packing, receiving, and dispatching goods. You will work as part of a supportive team, contributing to the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders and ensuring the safe handling of all items stored on-site. Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to specific instructions.
• Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against delivery notes, and store items appropriately.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks and scanners as required.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and securely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all health and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar operational environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently within a team.
• Good physical fitness, as the role involves standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Awareness of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for meeting operational demands.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to manage order details and stock counts.
