Warehouse Supervisor - E-commerce Operations

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations within their fast-paced e-commerce fulfillment center in Sunderland . You will lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of online orders from receipt to dispatch. This role is critical for maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement within the logistics hub of Sunderland .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.
• Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, and shipping of e-commerce orders.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock checks.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
• Monitor operational performance and identify areas for process improvement.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members and other departments.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role, preferably in e-commerce.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including inventory control and order fulfillment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Commitment to upholding health and safety standards in the Sunderland facility.
