About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their facility in Bradford . This role requires a hands-on leader who can oversee daily operations, ensure the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse processes, and manage a team of warehouse operatives. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, implementing operational procedures, and contributing to the overall productivity of the warehouse. This hybrid role offers a blend of on-site leadership and potential for some remote administrative tasks, providing flexibility while maintaining a crucial presence in the operational heart of the business. You will play a key part in achieving operational targets and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
Implement and enforce strict health and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular checks and cycle counts.
Manage operational equipment and ensure it is maintained and in good working order.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
Solid understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and logistics.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
A commitment to promoting a safe and productive work environment.
Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model, balancing on-site and potential off-site responsibilities.
