Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead their team in Brighton . This role requires strong leadership skills to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure productivity targets are met, and maintain a safe and orderly work environment. You will be responsible for guiding warehouse staff, managing workflows, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and proper storage of goods.
• Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to existing staff.
• Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, optimizing space and resource utilization.
• Address operational issues and implement solutions to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a warehouse environment.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory control and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
