📍 Tilbury Area 💷 £32,500 per annum 🕒 Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm 📄 Full Time | Permanent

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their busy and fast-paced warehouse operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on warehouse professional with proven 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) experience who is looking to develop their career within a growing logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring all activities are completed efficiently and in line with procedures.

• Lead, motivate and allocate workloads to warehouse staff to ensure productivity and operational targets are achieved.

• Monitor and drive warehouse KPI performance, ensuring service levels are consistently met.

• Ensure all warehouse documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales.

• Assist with the recruitment, induction and training of warehouse staff.

• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety across the warehouse operation.

• Oversee MHE maintenance reporting and ensure equipment is maintained to required standards.

• Support employee development and performance management.

• Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience within a 3PL warehouse environment is essential.

• Proven experience supervising or leading a warehouse team.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes and stock control.

• Experience working to and achieving KPIs and service level agreements.

• Good knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety procedures.

• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.

• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
